Visual Science for Middle School Teachers
|

Teachers Helping Teachers
This web page was created to help
middle school science teachers
provide instruction that is visual and
fun. You can use this site to link to
pages for each of the middle school
science subject areas, including math.
The website you are seeing is part of
an Action Research Project in
connection with a university program
in Educational Technology.
One purpose of this website is to give
middle school teachers resources for
building Webquests and teaching
students to create Webquests.
Since 90% of the information our
students receive is visual, it just makes
sense to make science more visual and
exciting for children. These weblinks
were chosen for addressing multiple
intelligences for visual and kinesthetic
learning.
The simulations and animations page
contains links to online simulators that
you can use in your classroom. Most
of these are freely accessed.
The teacher resources page has many
useful sites for teachers. There are
many favorites that you may recognize.
If you have favorite science or math
websites that you want to share with
other middle school science teachers,
please email me with your websites.
